Russell Stewart Jasper, Sr. Russell Stewart Jasper, Sr., age 73, of Independent Hill, Va., passed away Monday, October 31, 2011.
He was a retired letter carrier with the USPS. He was born February 20, 1938 the son of the late James Russell Jasper and the late Katherine Cornwell Jasper. He is survived by a son and his wife Russell S. "T.J." and Penni Jasper, Jr. of Dumfries; a sister and her husband, Betty and Sam Keys of Independent Hill, Va.; two grandchildren Roger Austin, Jr. and Crystal Austin Wong.
A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, November 4, 2011 at Mountcastle Turch Life Celebration Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, Va. Arrangements by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home of Dale City.
