Claudius Amon Bushnell (known to many as Butch, Bush, Cab or Mr. B) passed away as a result of kidney cancer, Sunday, June 25, 2000, in his home four days before his 67th birthday, surrounded by family and friends. Loved and respected by many, Claude was preceded in death by his parents Amon Zair Bushnell and Mamie Rowell Busnell and his son Herman Paul Bushnell. He is survived by his wife Isabel; son Harry; daughters Kathy Aldridge and Barbara Shafer; brothers Clyde, Worth, Carl, Joe, Samel and Bill Bushnell; sisters SMarie Slaughter, Ruth Childers, Ann Huffman, Martha Prater, da Garcia and Betty Gibson; and any close friends whom he considered as family members.
