Arthur Leroy Reppert was born Aug 21, 1884 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri to John Christian and Sara Jane (Connell) Reppert the third of six children. By 1900 he and his mother and siblings had moved back to Rich Hill, Bates Co., Missouri, where he is shown as a student. his father having died in 1895.
In the 1910 Census at age 26 he is back in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri, living with his mother and brothers and is shown as a fireman on the Frisco railroad.
On Nov 8, 1912, at the age of 28, while working on the railroad Arthur fell of of a box car of a moving train and was run over by the train and killed. He is buried beside his parents in Rich Hill, Bates Co., Missouri.
