For many years, Nathan's gravesite was unknown by his children. Nathan's daughter-in-law, Minnie (Moser) McNair, searched with other family members and found Nathan's interment in 1927. This photo shows the farmhouse in Pawnee County that was built behind the marker -- Minnie is standing next to it. The name of the farm owner was never passed along, and the location of the marker is once again unknown -- if indeed it even exists in the present day.
