Floyd Darrel Volle, 67, Beattie, died August 24, 1998, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

He was born December 1, 1930, to Arthur A. & Mabel S. Brouhard Volle, in Summerfield, KS.

He worked construction for Reno Construction, O'Donnell Construction, and Hall Brothers in Marysville. He was a member of the American Legion at Beattie, and the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include brothers, Marvin Volle, Effingham, KS; Donald Volle, Grantville, KS; sisters, Ruby Roberts, Cottage Grove, OR; Velma Rogacki, Colorado Springs, CO; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son, Francis Volle; brothers, Lawrence Volle and Richard Volle; and sister, Alice.

Funeral services were held August 27, 1998, at the United Methodist Church in Beattie. Burial was in the Summerfield cemetery.
