MULLINS - Sylvester Causey, 86, died Wednesday morning. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Cox Collins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Little Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Causey was born in Horry County, a son of the late Uriah and Carolina Jolly Causey. He was married to the late Alice Shelley Causey.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Causey of Seneca, Troy Causey of Mullins, Lloyd Causey and Roland Causey, both of Marion; one brother, Leroy Causey of Nichols; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Coates of Dillon; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
