Mrs. Frances Hearn Johnson, 85, died Sept. 20 at Hospice Savannah Inc.

She was born in Savannah. She was the widow of John Francis Johnson. She was a Roman Catholic and had worked for the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 660 and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post No. 135.

SURVIVORS: a daughter, Margaret Reddick of Savannah; a son, Thomas W. Johnson of Savannah; a brother, William D. Hearn of Marietta; two sisters, Loretta Welch of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mary Kearns of Savannah; three grandchildren, Kimberly J. Smith, Christopher D. Johnson and Shannon K. Reddick, all of Savannah; a great-grandchild, Allison E. Smith of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home.

VIGIL SERVICE: 7 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, burial in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
