Ada Marie Dodson, 78, Neosho, died Monday, October 13, 2003 at Freeman Neosho Hospital.
She was born January 7, 1925 at Ritchey, MO., to Clarence and Nellie Douthitt. She received her education a Ritchey and Neosho.
She married Allen R. Dodson and they were parents to three children. One son, Raymond Dale Dodson; two daughter, Barbara Littlefield and Donna Hazelwood.
The family lived at Neosho and Rocky Comfort then moved to Carthage in 1946. She was employed by Big Smith garment factory in Carthage for 18 years. Ada and Allen moved to Neosho in December 2000 where she had been in failing health. She was a charter member of the Diamond Weslyan Holiness Alliance Church.
She was preceded in death by one grandson.
She is survived by her husband Allen, of the home; her son Raymond and wife Carolyn of Haysville, KS.; two daughters, Barbara and husband Jimmy Littlefield, Neosho and Donna and husband Donald Hazelwood, Bartlesville, OK.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at the Housh Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Gary Filsinger and the Rev. Donald Hazelwood will officiate. Burial will be in Dudman Spring Cemetery.
