MACON - Joseph Thomas "J.T." Jones, 84, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2P.M., Tuesday, November 8th at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Jason Thomley officiating.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joe Eddingfield Jones and by his parents, Emmett and Mary Jo Boyle Jones. Born in LaGrange, he was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy. Mr. Jones was retired from Robins Air Force Base, had worked with the Mercer Police Department and was a member of F.O.P. Lodge. -Survivors include his daughter, Elita Kay King of Macon; his grandchildren, Lois Dubbert of Byron and Bill (Bobbie) King of Macon; his great grandchildren, Savana Dubbert, Jordan King and Brandon King; his brother, Donald Jones of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.
