Jane A. Boynton, 74, of Pickerington, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, in her home. She was born Nov. 26, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude (Felmlee) Boynton. Prior to her retirement, she was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Miami, Fla. She was a graduate of Columbia School of Nursing in Wilkinsburg. She was a devoted Christian, and loved her children and grandchildren. She also loved to travel. She is survived by a son, Sean Lockyer, of Miami, Fla.; two daughters, Carol Lockyer, of Pickerington, Ohio, and Barbara Browning, of High Point, N.C.; five grandchildren, Jared, Alexandra, Ashley, Ray and Anna Belle; four brothers, Paul M. Boynton Jr., of Buffalo, N.Y., William P. Boynton, of Trafford, Gerald F. Boynton, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Robert E. Boynton, of Ligonier; and a sister, Marcia Boynton-Andrew, of Ephrata. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. A funeral service will be held at noon Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert J. Marks officiating. Interment will follow in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon, PA
