Memorial service for Maxwell R. Morphew, 66, a retired wholesale hardware salesman, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thornhill chapel of the Valley. Inurament will be at Pines cemetery.
Mr. Morphphew, who died Wednesday was born in Spokane and was a lifetime resident here. He was a amateur radio operator with the call letters K7DVA.
He served with the Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey; Two sons, Gary Morphew of Las vagas, NV. and geoffrey Morphew of Tacoma; two daughters, Nancy Hutton of Issaquah, Washingtonand Jan Morphew of Portland and 11 grandchildren
