Mrs. Katherine (Kate) Huff, 94, died yesterday evening in a Visalia resthome.
She resided at 239 W. Houston Avenue and had been a resident of Visalia since 1898.
A native of Johnson County, Tex., she moved as a child to Missouri where she was reared and educated. She was married to George H. Huff on Oct. 16, 1892, in Fayette, Mo. He died in 1935.
She was a member of the Visalia Church of God.
Mrs. Huff was the mother of nine children, eight of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Akins of Visalia; a brother, Romie Wood of Visalia; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the Visalia Church of God Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. A. Clarence Roper and E. R. Connelly will officiate with burial in the Visalia Cemetery.

Married George Henry Huff (1867-1935) on 16 Oct 1892 in Fayette, Howard Co, Missouri.
Mother: Rhoda Bell Fisher Wood (d. Dec 1880) burial place unknown, probably in or near Batie Twp, Benton Co, Arkansas.
Aunt Kate (as my grandmother called her) outlived all of her children except one, her youngest daughter, Grace. Kate took her first airplane ride to celebrate her 89th birthday.
Children: William Albert, Elsie Mae Lamb, George Herbert, Tennie Pearl Miller, Floyd Ermin, Earl Owbrey, Thomas Calvin, Melvin Charles, Grace Akins.
