Sergeant Alsup died as a result of a single car accident on Hwy 49 and Route "K" in Iron County, Missouri. He was ejected from his 2003 Ford. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Services: A Memorial Visitation will be held at the St. Louis Policeman's Hall (3710 Hampton) on Fri., Nov. 11, from 4-9pm.
His remains have been cremated and will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
The family has requested that the funeral and interment be private for family only.
