Lawrence R. Carr, born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Lawrence and Anna May (Falbo) Carr on Jan. 4, 1941, died of cancer on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at his Fairfield home.
Mr. Carr was involved in public education for 30 years as an administrator in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Afterward he was an instructor and supervisor at Brandman University.
He is survived by his wife Adele Beatrice "Bea" Carr of Fairfield; and sons, Larry Carr and his wife Jennifer of El Dorado Hills, Rick Carr of Lafayette, Calif., and Marty Carr and his wife Lee Bickley of Sacramento. He is also survived by four granddaughters, Lauren, Megan and Stephanie Carr, all of El Dorado Hills, and Charlotte "Charlie" Carr of Sacramento; and brother, James Carr of Paris, France.
