In September of 1918 at the age of 40 Charles registers for the WWI draft, he is owner of Amundson Hardware Store on 6th Street, Sunnyside and the family lives on East Boulevard. At the age of 63 Charles registers for the WWII draft in 1942, he states the family is now living at 404 So. 9th Street in Sunnyside, Washington.
