MILLEN - Mrs. Ada Frances Whaley Bunch, age 67, died Monday afternoon at the Jenkins County Hospital after an extended illness. The Screven County native lived in Bulloch County most of her life before moving to Millen three years ago. She was a retired school bus driver with the Bulloch County Board of Education and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Bunch.

Surviving are a sister, Sandra Darlene Lampp of Reidsville; a sister-in-law, Ethel Bunch of Millen; and a half brother, Randy Stafford of Palatka, Fla. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Curry officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Portal.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
