Teresa M. (Pohlkamp) Weber, a resident of Rice, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Teresa M. Pohlkamp was born May 25, 1956, in Little Falls, to the late Theodore and Anna (Gangl) Pohlkamp. She grew up in the Buckman area with her nine siblings. After graduating from high school, she attended the St. Cloud Vocational Technical College for one year. Teresa was united in marriage to Dennis Weber, April 22, 1989, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman. The couple made their home in Rice. Teresa worked at Stearns Manufacturing in the bundling department. She also bartended for several years at "Toby's" in Buckman, and at "Rumors" in Rice. Teresa enjoyed riding the Harley with Dennis, four-wheeling, fishing, quilting with the girls, playing cribbage and spending time in the sun.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dennis Weber of Rice; siblings, Margaret Teig and husband, Larry of Brainerd, Thomas "Toby" Pohlkamp and wife, Elaine of Royalton, Rich Pohlkamp and wife, Linda, of Buckman, Pat Britz and husband, Gerry, of St. Cloud, Dona Janson and husband Dan of Pierz, Donnie Pohlkamp and friend, Debbie Bialke, of Ramey, Rosemary Rinkel and husband Carl of Maple Grove, Linda Brezinka and husband Mike of Buckman and Roger Pohlkamp and wife Terra, of Buckman; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Anna (Gangl) Pohlkamp; niece, Amy Britz and nephews, Jason Rinkel and Shawn Pohlkamp.
Casketbearers were Adam Pohlkamp, Andrew Janson, Todd Pohlkamp, Sheila Rueckert, Jamie Verley and Tim Teig.
