Goodrich Leon, a son of Maurice Leon of Dublin Road, Irvington, died last night at the age of 26 after a brief illness and several years of poor health. His father is Maurice Leon, a member of the New York law firm of Evarts, Choate, Sherman Leon, 44 Wall Street. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Maurice Jr., and two sisters, Elizabeth G. and Frances W. Leon.

For centuries the stark silent height of the Matterhorn uttered no challenge. Like the Greek Gods of Olympus, like the Firegoddess Pele of Kilauea, a legendary monster of the Matterhorn threatened and forbade.
