Bobby Lee Warner, 66, of Biscoe died Thursday (April 10, 2003) at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (today) at First Baptist Church in Biscoe with the Rev. Larry Wilson. Interment follows at Biscoe Cemetery.

A native of Richmond County, Mr. Warner was born Oct. 25, 1936, the son of Frank and Glenn Morgan Warner.

He was a member of the Biscoe Masonic Lodge, a veteran and was the facility maintenance supervisor with Southern Corrections Institute.

Mr. Warner was preceded in death by two sons, James and Robert Warner.

Surviving are his wife, Irene Stewart Warner of the home; two daughters, Brenda Warner Kern of Asheboro and Tina Warner McCallum of Candor; three sisters, Jane Covington of Biscoe, Faye Thomas and Sarah Banitt, both of Fayetteville; a brother, Edward Frank Warner Jr. of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
