Mrs. Archuleta was born March 16, 1914, in Alamosa, Colo. to Miguel C. and Maria B. Santana. She was reared and educated in Alamosa.
She married Max A. Archuleta Sept. 5, 1929, in Alamosa.
They moved in 1930 to Chama, N.M., where they lived until moving back to Colorado in 1941. In 1954 they moved to Utah and in 1965 to Nampa, where they had since resided.
While living in Nampa, she worked for Birdseye, J.R. Simplot and as a homemaker.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a past member of the American G.I. Forum.
She is survived by her husband of Nampa; two sons, Gilbert H. Archuleta of Costa Mesa, Calif and Jose A. "Leo" Archuleta of Delta, Colo.; two daughters, Patricia H. Ruzi of Nampa and Andrea M. Garcia of Algodones, N.M.; two brothers, Camillo Ochoa of Albuquerque, N.M. and Adan Santana of Nampa; three sisters, Margaret Chavez of Albuquerque, Eva Sandoval of Delta, Colo., and Dora Sandoval of Delta, Colo., and Dora Sandoval of Alamosa; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Clifford A. and Mike R. Archuleta; and two sisters.
