Maryann Aragón, age 70, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
Maryann was born on September 7, 1941 to the late Nasario and María Briones in Albuquerque, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.
Maryann was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Maryann was a wonderful mother who enjoyed shopping and cooking, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Maryann was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe.
Maryann is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Valenzuela and her husband, Lorenzo, Yvonne Carabajal, Joe Carabajal and his wife, Terry, John Carabajal and David Carabajal and his wife, Susan, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bernalillo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Valenzuela, John Carabajal, David Carabajal, Lorenzo Valenzuela II, Francisco Valenzuela and Jonathan Benavidez. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabriel Moralez and Joe Anthony Carabajal.
