On September 10, 1876 she was united in marriage to Fredrick Blume. This union was blessed with eleven children, three sons and eight daughters, of which two sons and one daughter preceded her in death. In 1879 the family came to Nebraska and settled in the Tecumseh vicinity. Some years later they moved to Denver, Colo., and still later to Nebraska City.
