Ella first married William Cadwell on 12/19/1855 in Chicago, Illinois. I don't know the names of her parents but I feel that her father died young and her mother's first name might have been Miranda (who married 2nd a Mr. Burke). Ella was second married to James H. Clark on 1/18/1881 in Chicago, Illinois. There were 2 sons from the first marriage and no children from the second marriage. Ella was cremated at Graceland and her ashes were supposedly delivered back to the undertaker. There are no notes to indicate that she was actually buried at Graceland, but both of her husbands were buried there, so I'm assuming she was too, and the records weren't updated.
