Henry A. Byers, was the husband of Sadie Croushorn Byers, my mother's half-sister. My mother was Evalena Croushorn Heflin who was born at Weyers Cave. Henry Byers had three children by Sadie Croushorn his 2nd wife: Russell Byers who died in 2009 in Rockingham County and the late Mary Byers Owens, wife of Ray Owens. Mary and Ray are also interred in Salem Lutheran Cemetery. They lived quite near the cemetery.
