PARENTS: Daniel and Nellie Worden Loose
Former Educator Dies at Ann Arbor Hospital
Clifford H. (Tip) Loose, of N. territorial Rd., Gregory, died suddenly Oct. 1, at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor at teh age of 71.
Born Nov. 10, 1902 at Fremont, Ind., he was the son of Daniel and Nellie Worden Loose. He was graduated from Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan. He taught 18 years at the University of Tennessee, and spent 6 years with the American Red Cross in Iceland and Italy. He worked with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in Los Angeles until 1953 when he retired and moved to his present address.
He was married to Lucille Liebeck on July 5, 1923 at St. Marys Church in Chelsea. She survives. Also surviving is one daughter Mrs. Maury(Nancy) Cochran
Funeral services were held Frid. Oct 4 at the Staffan Funeral Home, burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
