Born in Logan, Utah and youngest of three children of Alfred and Mary. Grew up loving to play golf. Was Long Beach City Champ at 16. Married Beth Carroll on Christmas 1933 in Pasadena. Years later joined Ramblers(LA GOLF ASSOC.) as their EX.Sec. And was at one time the Sec. for the Nat'l. Senior Golf. Golf was his love in life. Father to three, Jim, Toy and Tina. A great husband and loving father.
