Wolf Bearclaw Spencer, 49, of Springfield died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at his home. He was born Sept. 4, 1954, in Springfield, the son of Walter and Althea Perry Spencer. He married Lisa Edwards in 1995 in Springfield. Mr. Spencer was a member of the Hunkpapa tribe, DAV, SIOAS and Koke Mill Christian Church. Survivors: wife, Lisa; a son, Brian (wife, Mary) Spencer of Springfield; two grandchildren; father, Walter E. Spencer of Springfield; and a brother, Charles E. (wife, Termtip) Spencer of Springfield. Cremation rites will be accorded by Springfield Crematory. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Friday, Camp Butler National Cemetery. Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
