Mrs. Annie Livengood Scott a Victim of Fire at Boise, Idaho.
The editor of The Republican on Tuesday morning received a telegram from Boise, Idaho, conveying the sad intelligence that his youngest sister, Mrs. Annie Scott, "died of burns" at 6:30 o'clock Monday evening. The telegram was sent by her husband, Robert N. Scott. No particulars were given, but a later telegram stated that another sister, Mrs. Sarah Heitzman, of Palouse, Wash., was enroute to Boise and that details of the tragedy would be sent by mail.
Mrs. Scott was born at Grantsville, Md., in November, 1871, and was the youngest of the ten children of the late Samuel J. and Nancy (Lichty0 Livengood. Her girlhood was spent in Salisbury, Pa., and most of. Her mature life in the. Farm West. She was married to Robert R. Scott, a native of Scotland, at Spokane, Wash., about 2 years ago, and soon thereafter they located at Boise, Idaho, where they made their home. They had no children.
Four brothers and three sisters survive, namely, Ananias S. Livengood, Woodbine, Kansas; Mrs. A. D. Gnagey and Miss Nancy Livengood, Ashland, O.; Wm S. Livengood, Meyersdale; Peter L. Livengood, Elk Lick, Pa.; Mrs. Sarah Heitzman, Palouse, Wash., and Jonas B. Livengood, Santa Cruz, Cal.
