Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kellogg's home at Stafford was the scene of a pretty wedding at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon when, in the presence of ninety guests, their elder daughter, Isabell Marie, was united in marriage to John Augustus Branton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Branton of the West Main street road. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. D.C. Irwin, formerly pastor of the South Byron Methodist Episcopal church, in the parlor under an arch of asparagus ferns studded with pink and white cosmos. The bride was gowned in fawn colored canton crepe and wore a necklace set with a diamond, the gift of the groom. She carried a shower bouquet of Killarney roses. Miss Gertrude Kellogg, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Her gown was blue tricolette and she carried an arm bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums. Miss Fanny Branton, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. She wore a gown of blue satin and georgette and carried an arm bouquet of pink and white chrysanthemums. The groom was attended by Charles Thornell and William Garwood, both of Batavia. The wedding party entered the parlor to the strains of "The Bridal Chorus" from "Lohengrin," played by Mrs. Rudell Cash of Byron. Little Marian Harloff, dressed in pink crepe de chine, preceded the bridal party as flower girl. Following the ceremony dinner was served. Twelve were seated at the bride's table, which was decorated in pink and white. Mr. and Mrs. Branton left last evening on a western trip and after November 15th will be at home at No. 5 River street. Mrs. Branton's traveling suit was dark blue poplin with a russet hat. The groom's gifts to his attendants were gold cuff links and the bride's to her attendants were friendship pins. Guests were present from Batavia, Elba, Avoca, Buffalo, LeRoy, Pavilion, Rochester and South Byron. Prenuptial events included showers given by Miss Marjorie Waterman and Mrs. Reid Waterman, Mrs. LaVerne Spence of LeRoy, the Philathea class of the South Byron Methodist Episcopal Sunday school, Misses Bell and Lucile Torrey and Miss Florence Leanan.
