Stella May Nidever was born at Ben Franklin, Lamar County, Texas.

(In 1870, that area of Lamar County, around Ben Franklin, was formed into Delta County.)

She was married 31 Dec 1882 in Delta County, Texas, to Samuel S. Palmer. One child was born of their union.

She and Samuel Palmer were divorced. She took back the Nidever surname.

Stella was married 20 Dec 1888 in Delta County, Texas, to Albert Sidney Johnson "Bill" Redding. Eleven children were born of their union.

Her husband, Bill Redding, died in 1916.

Stella was married 5 Sep 1919 at Grant, Choctaw County, Oklahoma, to John W. Brown.

She and John Brown were divorced. She took back the Redding surname.

At the time of her death she was living with one of her daughters at Goose Creek, Texas.

(In the early 1950s Goose Creek, Pelly, and Baytown were consolidated, all becoming Baytown, Texas.)

She was buried in 1946 in the Hill of Rest Cemetery in Goose Creek, Harris County, Texas, which is now Baytown.
