MADISON/Bemidji, Minn. — Mrs. Frank (Esther) Zimmer, 90, a lifelong Madison and Bemidji, Minnesota, resident, died Tuesday, March 4, at a Green Bay hospital. She was the former Esther Kaldfleisch. She was born October 6, 1895, in Blooming Grove, Wisconsin, to the late George and Emma Kaldfleisch. Mrs. Zimmer was married to Alfred G. Kilgust in Madison, April 12, 1916. He preceded her in death in 1939. She married Frank Zimmer August 28, 1941, in Madison, and he preceded her in death in 1964. She is survived by two sons, A. Robert Kilgust, of Middleton and Englewood, Florida, and Reverend Dean A. Kilgust, of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Sam (Hilda) Olson, of Madison. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Madison, with the Rev. Joel Diemer officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. SCHAUER & SCHUMACHER FUNERAL HOME, Green Bay, is in charge of arrangements.
