Both Rosina L and Isaac (Jr) are married and listed on the 1900 census in SF. On the census taken 6/8/1909, listed are August Pioda (head of household, 38, b 12/1861 in CA, dad b in Switzerland, mom b in France, married for 15 years to Maud, job: insurance agent) Maud Pioda (35, b 7/1864 in CA, dad b in PA, mom b in IA, had 3 kids but only 2 alive in 1900), son Alfred (5, b 12/1894 in CA), daughter Antonette (3, b 5/1897 in CA); mother-in-law Emily Bond (56, b 6/1843 in IA, parents b in PA, widowed, had 7 kids and all alive in 1900); Isaac Bluxome (34, b 1/1866 in Ca, dad b in NY, mom b in IA, married for 5 years to Rosina, job: salesman), Rosina Bluxome (34, b 4/1866 in CA, parents b in MA, had 1 kid so far), and their son Don L (2, b 6/1897 in CA). There are errors in this census, so take everything not at face value. For instance, it says Don's parents were born in MA, but they were both born in CA, etc.

A SEPARATE 1900 census taken 6/12/1900 in SF at 1453 - 9th Avenue shows Isaac, Rosina and Don living in their own place. On this census, it lists Rosina and Isaac born in 1867 and Don in 6/1899 because he's 11 months old.

*NOTE: for whatever reason, I believe the basic cemetery records online were incorrectly transcribed, since Isaac "Don" died in 1923 and Rosina died in 1924. Being that Gertrude died in 1909, I think the transcriber just did 1909 for the next two entries.

b 11/18/1849 in France, d 2/23/1917 of asthma and bronchitis at the French Hospital in SF (I have a copy of his funeral record), buried 2/27/1917; father is Jean and mother if Rudelle; job: hotel keeper; husband of Irma - on the obituary, they list relatives, but I cannot read French

IRMA CALMELS
b 1859, d 9/30/1935 in SF County, buried 10/3/1935; wife of Antoine; I found an immigration record through Ellis Island on 2/12/1900. It says she's married, from Conquet Avezion, she departed from Havre on the ship LaGascogne and it says she's "returning home". Also on this record is Jean Calmels (50, job: dayman) and Irene Calmels (11 1/2).

SALINA GENEVIEVE (DODGE) TRUETT
