Services are scheduled at First Baptist Church for Thomas P. McKnight, 32, and Judy L. McKnight, 38, both of Picacho.The McKnights were married Dec.10, 1977, at the T.J.McKnight Ranch.

Mr. McKnight was born on Nov. 14,1952, in Roswell to Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. McKnight. His father survives him in Roswell, while his mother,Avalon Russ McKnight, preceded him in death. Burial will be at South Park Cemetery.

A lifetime resident of Picacho,McKnight was a rancher and member of the Ruidoso Masonic Lodge, the Elks Lodge, the York Rite Bodies & Ballut Abyad Shrine, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the New Mexico Woolgrowers Association.He served as chairman of the Lincoln County Commission from 1978 to 1982.

The couple is survived by two sons,Randy McKnight and Judson McKnight, both of Roswell.McKnight is also survived by a brother, Pancho McKnight of Picacho.

McKnight's pallbearers will be Tony Campbell, Cliff Gallegos, DarrellHipp, Melvin Montoya, Judson McKnight and Virgil Smith.
