HENSLEY, TOLBERT D. (T.D.), JR., - 63, peacefully passed away at home on Friday morning, April 4, 1997.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from K.U.B. in January 1997. He was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tolbert D. Hensley, Sr. and Ollie Correll Hensley; sister, Rosalee Hensley and brother, Glen Hensley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Hensley; sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Debbie Smithers, Troy Hensley and fiancee' Dee Ann Ott, Tim and Dianna Smithers, Brian and Dawn Hensley, Scott Smithers and fiancee' Lori Carter; and daughter, Jodi Fuller; there are six granddaughters; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Carl Raley; sisters, Alice Hensley, Mary Hensley, Mamie Purkey, Helen Logan; special sisters-in-law, Lora Hensley, Kathyn (Kitty) Byrd; special cousin, Jane McGlothan; mother-in-law, Carrie Byrd; several nieces and nephews. Funeral 8 p.m. Sunday, Berry Chapel, Rev. Curtis Trent officiating, interment 11 a.m. Monday, Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Dye, Bill Lonas, Ken Stevenson, Bob Bringle, Bob Bodenheimer, David Roach, and the Transportation Department of K.U.B. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
