He was born March 21, 1925 in Monarch, Oklahoma to Ollie and Rose Driver Turner.
He worked as a truck driver and is a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Survived by his wife Donna, children Linda Love, Laura Turner, Brian Turner, Rebecca Christiansen, Elaine Turner, and Alan Turner, twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and two brothers. Preceded in death by parents and son Scott.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011, with a viewing one hour prior to the services, in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
