Palma Bergstrom, 78, of Kelliher, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1995, at the Kelliher Care Center.

Mrs. Bergstrom was born Sept. 22, 1916, at Strandquist, Minn. She married John Bergstrom Nov. 16, 1935, at Strandquist. They had lived at Fort Tack, Mont., and Baudette and Littlefork before moving to Kelliher Jan. 20, 1945. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, its Hope Circle and womens group.

She is survived by three sons, David of Kelliher, Sidney of Black Diamond, Wash., and Ernest "Wendell" of Charleston, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five brothers, Loyal, Gilbert, Ernest, Palmer and John Oistad, all of Karlstad.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, John, in 1936; four brothers, Herb, Oliver, Wilbert and Richard; and two sisters, Florence and Marie.

He was married to Palma Bergstrom (23) born about 1917 in Minnesota. In 1935 she was living in Marshall County, Minnesota. Children: David (2) and Sidney (1).
