Edith Louise Dawson Whetzel "Louise",77, a resident of Mayo, Md died at Johns Hopkins University Hospital on August 19th, 2011 of cancer after a long illness. Born July 23,1934. She graduated from Annapolis High School and was a housewife most of her life. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Predeceased in death by two sons,
Steven in 2002 and Jeff Whetzel in 2003.
Survived by her loving husband Charles Wheltzel of 59 years. One son; Kevin S. Whetzel of Davidsonville, MD;
three sisters; Shirley M. Dawson Crawford of Shawsville, Va; Dorothy "Dottie" E. Dawson Brashears of New Bern, NC; and Hazel E. Dawson Luttrell of Chestertown, Md.; and a brother Homer R."Buddy" Dawson of Ingleside, MD and four grandchildren and two-great grandchildren.
Edith (Louise) was cremated, she was given to her husband and is at her home in Mayo, MD.
