On May 12, 1984 Ona was the Grand Marshall for the 17th Annual Lookingglass Parade at the age of 87. Her and her husband Lee are buried in the Lookingglass Cemetery in OR.

Ona is the daughter of Samuel Rice Brisbin and Sarah Kirkendall.

She is the sister of Walter W. Brisbin, Ann Brisbin-Kent, Lee Elmer Brisbin, Bertha Brisbin-Lancaster,Myrtle Brisbin-Spaugh,Samuel Ralph Brisbin and Rose Hibbard Brisbin- Henning.
