Audie lived in the family townhouse on Vergennes Street in Lowell and cared for her invalid mother. She never married.
Audie was tiny and very spirited. She was highly skilled at needlework and weaving.
Audie and her mother were driving forces behind the establishment of the original library in Lowell. The first library building (previously a residence) and many of the original books were donated her cousin, Ernest R. Graham, a famous Chicago architect.
