Sandra Kay Wilkes Baldwin, 57, of Front Royal, Virginia, formerly of Luray, died Thursday, November 10, 2011, in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
A funeral service will be held at Maddox Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Baldwin was born August 23, 1954, in Front Royal, daughter of John H. Wilkes, Jr. of Front Royal and the late Martha Dawson Wilkes.
Mrs. Baldwin was a retired legal secretary and a member of the Front Royal United Methodist Church. She was married to the late Morris T. Baldwin.
Surviving with her father are her step-mother, Daisy V. Walker Wilkes; a brother, Glenn Wilkes of Front Royal; a sister, Joyce Ann Sargent of Front Royal; two step-children, Craig Baldwin and Bernadette "Bernie" Garrett, both of Maryland; two nephews, Jamie and Jesse; and a niece, Chasiti.
With her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Gail Wilkes; maternal grandparents, Edward Earle Sowers and Dollie Emma Chrisman Sowers; and paternal grandparents, John Hammet Wilkes, Sr and Verna H Wilkes.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Chrisman, Ronnie Chrisman, Gary Good, Eric Good, Rick Sowers, and Vincent Miller.
