Benjamin Hinds, son of Jacob and Grace [Morse], was born 7 July 1725 in
Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. [Shrewsbury B/R]

On 18 October 1747
at Shrewsbury, Benjamin Hinds married Elizabeth Temple,
daughter of Isaac Temple of Boylston.[Shrewsbury M/R] A widower, he married
second, Tabitha Holland, the daughter of Ephraim Holland, on 1 July 1766 at
Shrewsbury.[Shrewsbury M/R] He was a farmer in Shrewsbury and in 1746
settled in West Boylston.
