Daryl Ray Lewis of rural Fredonia died Saturday, April 14, 2007 as the results of injuries suffered in an automobile accident east of Neodesha. He was 40.
The son of Arthur Kirk and Gloria Rae (Duke) Lewis was born June 29, 1966 in Independence. He was a life long resident of Neodesha where he received his education.He later graduated form Cowley County Technical School as a certified welder.
He was united in marriage to Lenora Ostrander in Arkansas City. They were later divorced.
He was preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Chester A. Lewis and his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Ruth Duke.
Survivors include his parents, Kirk and Gloria Lewis of Neodesha, four children, Hannah, Rachel, Rebecca and Dianne Lewis. A brother David of Sedan, a sister Susan Apollo of Neodesha and his paternal grandmother, Hazel Lewis of Independence.
