Amy R. Stephenson was the daughter of Charles Fletcher Stephenson (1857 - 1942) and Emily Walker Stephenson 1869 - ). Her parents were born in England and immigrated here in 1880. In 1915, Amy married Elmer Floyd Criger, the son of Charles and Lovina Stutsman Criger. He was the brother of Lou Criger, the famous catcher for the Boston Americans during the Dead Ball era. Amy and Elmer were the parents of two daughters: May Criger Kuehn (1916 - 1963) and Elmira Criger (1926 - 1982). Amy and Elmira are buried in the Roselawn Memorial Park in Livermore, Alameda, California. There are no headstones to mark their gravesites.
