Polly Jo Baer, 40, of Centre Hall died Tues-day, Dec. 30, 1997, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
She was born May 31, 1957, in Bellefonte, a daughter of Jean Louise Stoner Muthersbaugh of rural Centre Hall. On May 7, 1994, she married Rick A. Baer, who survives at home.
She was a 1975 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.
She had worked as an administrative assistant in the College of Education at Penn State since 1975.
She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Colyer and attended Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall.
She enjoyed her dogs, cross-stitching and was interested in antique and classic cars.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two brothers, Jack L. Muthersbaugh of Centre Hall and Randy W. Muthersbaugh of rural Centre Hall.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John W. Betlyon officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery, Colyer.
