Raymond Carl McCullough

Funeral services for Mr. Raymond "Carl" McCullough, age 88, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the new Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. McCullough passed away Thursday evening at Horizon Health and Rehab Center in Manchester.

Mr. McCullough was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Thomas Hall and Maymie Duke McCullough. He was a member of the Fredonia Methodist Church, where he led the singing for over 50 years. He enjoyed going to the Pocahontas Senior Citizens Center to play bingo and rook, and also loved going to gospel singings.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McCullough was also preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Oki, and Wayne McCullough and one sister, Mildred Shasteen. He is survived by one brother, Wendell (Bobbie) McCullough of Manchester; one sister-in-law, Mary Evelyn McCullough of Manchester; one brother-in-law, Corky Shasteen of Lynchburg; and several nieces and nephews.
