Funeral services for Mr. ERIC EVAN O'BRIEN of 11130 67 Street who passed away on Jun 16, 1953 were held on Saturday, June 16 [20] at 1:30 o'clock at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Frank Samis officiated and interment was made in the Soldier's Plot in the Westlawn Memorial Park. The pallbearers were Messrs. E. A. C. Hertzog, Gordon Forbes, R. T. James, William Giesbrecht, R. S. McLean and Eric Rendell.

He is survived by his loving wife [Sylvia J. Erickson O'Brien]; one son, Herbert Lewis [O'Brien] at home; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. L. J. [Lewis James and Alice John] O'Brien of Grande Prairie; two brothers, Dr. D. G. [Daniel Gurth] O'Brien of Grande Prairie and Dr. H. J. [Hugh John] O'Brien of Dawson Creek and one sister, Mrs. Margaret [Margaret North O'Brien] Hutton-Potts of Vancouver.
