Francis Caroline Gardner was the daughter of Thomas Melton Snellings and Ada Maudeen Brown. She was the wife of Archiebald Mercade Gardner. They were the parents of six children. They lived in Cartwright Oklahoma in their growing-up years. Francis and Archie remained in the area until their deaths. Their children scattered to the four winds,from Oklahoma to Texas, New Hampshire,Maine, Wisconsin and California.
