Mr. Oliver was born November 15, 1887, in Rural Fulton, the son of Henry N. and Ann (Dawson) Oliver. He was united in marriage to Mary Craig and she survives him. Mr. Oliver was a mechanic in a ship yard.
Arrangements were under the care of Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
