Obituary---
Funeral services were held at the Free Methodist Church here Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Mae Jeannette Cheesbro, 70, who died Wednesday night, May 19, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Paulman, 9 Knox St.
Born in Wisconsin, Mrs. Cheesbro had resided here for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and of the missionary society of that church. She was the widow of the late Adelbert Cheesbro.
Surviving are four sons, Emery Cheesbro of Beloit, Wis. Walter Cheesbro of Batavia, and Fletcher and David Cheesbro of this village; three daughters, Mrs. Paulman, Mrs. Lottie Ackley of Sparta and Mrs. Esther White of West Sparta; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild; eight brothers and sisters.
The Rev. Hazen Peters officiated. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery.
