Henry "Albert" Sevy, 90, Springfield, passed away on February 9, 2008. He was born in Garden City, MO, on February 9, 1918. Henry attended Springfield Senior (Central) High School. He worked for Paul Mueller Company for many years before retiring as a custodian with Springfield Public Schools. He was a longtime volunteer for the MS Walk and the MS 150 Bike Tour.
Henry was united in marriage to Mildred Miller Sevy in Springfield on June 29, 1940. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Hooper.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Sevy; son Richard "Pete" Sevy and wife, Beverly; daughter Susan Cirillo and husband, Roy "Sonny" Cirillo; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Lester Sevy and sisters, Loretta Pickering and Dorothy Mae Bell.
